Tata Altroz Racer Launch in india | Booking Open | 3 Colours, (R1, R2, R3 Variants), 7th June Launch

Tata Motors has started accepting bookings for the new Altroz Racer, set to launch next week. This sportier version of the Altroz hatchback comes in three variants (R1, R2, R3), each offering a range of advanced features such as a blind spot monitor, 360-degree camera, and cooled seats. Powered by a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the Altroz Racer includes sportier exhaust and dual-tone exterior finishes with unique interior highlights. A 3-year/1 lakh km warranty is standard, and it is expected to be priced higher than the standard Altroz iTurbo.

   - Bookings for the Tata Altroz Racer are now open.

   - Official launch : 7 June 2024

   - Three variants: R1, R2, and R3.


3. Features and Equipment:

   - R1 Variant:

     - Equipped better than standard Altroz’s top-spec XZ+ trim.

     - Includes four more airbags, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, sportier exhaust.

     - Features a 4-inch semi-analogue instrument cluster.

     - No sunroof.

   - R2 Variant:

     - Adds 7-inch digital instrument cluster, powered sunroof, wireless charging.

     - Includes 360-degree camera and blind spot monitor.

   - R3 Variant:

     - Adds Tata’s connected car tech, ventilated front seats, and an air purifier.


4. Segment-First Features:

   - Blind spot monitor.

   - 360-degree camera.

   - Cooled seats.


5. Powertrain:

   - Powered by Nexon’s 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.

   - Engine output: 120hp and 170Nm of peak torque.

   - Only available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

   - Sportier exhaust system.


6. Interior and Exterior Highlights:

   - Dual-tone exterior finish with 16-inch alloy wheels.

   - Three paint options: Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey.

   - Contrasting black finish on bonnet and roof, white racing stripes on bonnet.

   - Interior mirrors exterior finish with corresponding highlights around AC vents, centre console, gearbox, and seat upholstery.


7. Warranty:

   - 3-year/1 lakh km warranty as standard.


8. Pricing:

   - Expected to be priced higher than the standard Altroz iTurbo (currently Rs 8.50 lakh to Rs 10.10 lakh, ex-showroom, India).
